Monitors with mini DisplayPort input

Mini Display Port

— smaller version of the DisplayPort digital video/audio connector (see the relevant paragraph). It is completely identical in terms of signal capabilities and differs only in the design of the connector; It is also widely used in Apple technology (in particular, laptops), somewhat less often in devices from other manufacturers. However, less and less monitors with the classic mini Display Port are being produced — this interface is being replaced by more advanced Thunderbolt (see the relevant paragraph). It should be noted that the Thunderbolt outputs in versions 1 and 2 use connectors of exactly the same design, so you can directly connect monitor with mini Display Port to this output (for Thunderbolt v3, you need simple adapter).
