To date, only monitors with OLED panels meet this standard, thanks to the ability to control the backlight of each pixel individually. This significantly improves detail in shadows or dark scenes, whereas monitors with the DisplayHDR 400 standard appear more "washed out" due to the backlighting characteristics of conventional LCD panels.
