Despite the fact that Viewsonic has a separate line of monitors for designers and artists, models from the VA series are well suited for basic photo and video processing, working with raster graphics or 3D animation. In most cases, they have high-quality natural colour reproduction and high resolution, but at the same time they are cheaper than professional solutions with additional calibration capabilities and other buns. For example, the Viewsonic VA2719-2K-SMHD monitor is equipped with a 10-bit matrix and is capable of displaying 99% of the sRGB colour triangle.

Otherwise, the monitors of the VA line are asking for the epithet "universal". The diagonal of 24 – 27" makes it possible to freely place all the necessary information on the desktop, moderately responsive matrices cope well with dynamic games, and the use of SuperClear IPS technology ensures the same image quality, no matter what angle you look at. Plus, many representatives of this series support Flicker-Free and FreeSync technologies. The first negates the flickering of the screen, reducing the load on vision. The second eliminates the so-called image breaks in dynamic game or cinema scenes.

One of the most popular options in this line is the 2020 model year Viewsonic VA2718-SH. This is a 27-inch IPS monitor, which, in terms of its characteristics and price, is exactly between the low-cost and the middle class. It boasts thin frames, natural colour reproduction (102% coverage of the sRGB triangle), adaptive refresh rate and a built-in blue filter to reduce eye strain. The connection ports include standard VGA and HDMI (version 1.4), and a headphone jack is also placed on the case.
