Cameras with RAW format
Shooting in RAW format
— capable of taking photos in RAW format. RAW files contain data obtained directly from the camera's matrix, without being converted into a finished image. Such files are a kind of "negatives" from which you can get the final "prints" (usually JPEG files) with different settings. Thus, shooting in RAW format provides advanced processing options for photographs both on a computer and, in some cases, in the camera itself. This function is available in almost all SLR and mirrorless cameras (see “Camera type”); but among models with non-replaceable optics, RAW support is rare, usually it is a sign of a premium camera.Show
