A family of pre-top AMD Ryzen 7 2024 processors, codenamed Phoenix, built on a modified Zen 4 architecture. They stand out from their predecessors thanks to the use of high-performance integrated graphics and a separate neural processor for performing tasks related to artificial intelligence. These processors are designed to deliver high performance across a wide range of tasks, from gaming and multimedia to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The lineup includes several variations of the Ryzen 7 8700 chip, which has 8 physical cores, supports multi-threaded processing, operates at a base frequency of 4.2 GHz, and can be overclocked to 5.1 GHz in Turbo mode. A special feature of the series is support for DDR5 memory, which significantly increases bandwidth compared to previous generations using DDR4. This is especially important for graphics-intensive applications and tasks that require large amounts of memory bandwidth.
The Ryzen 7 8700G supports PCIe 4.0 with 20 lanes, allowing you to connect today's high-speed storage devices and graphics cards for system flexibility and expandability. The integrated graphics are represented by the new GPU Radeon 780M with 12 computing units (CU), the performance of which is approximately equal to the capabilities of the discrete GeForce GTX 1060.
That is, we are not talking about a banal plug, but about quite a gaming video card with support for the FSR upscaler, capable of delivering from 30 to 45 FPS in Full HD and with medium graphics settings in Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, RDR2, Horizon Zero Dawn and other AAA blockbusters of recent years. Another important feature is the integration of XDNA AI Engine, which performs artificial intelligence and machine learning tasks. This neural processor runs at 1.6 GHz and delivers performance up to 16 TOPS (trillion operations per second) for INT8 operations.

Monocrystalline processor with ultra-fast cache R7 8700F AMD Ai cores performing 16 million operations on an Asus Prime B650 motherboard and DDR-6000 memory easily handled Curva Optimizer Negative - 40 + with a thermal limit setting of Level 1 at 90 degrees, achieving phenomenal performance scores of up to 7450 points in CPU-Z. At this price, this processor is a killer on the market, outperforming the Core i7 12700KF and R7 7800X3D, and even catching up to the R7 7700 without AMD Ai cores. The 6-core Ryzen 5 9600X in CPU-Z with 6500 points doesn't even come close in terms of output, and its price isn't worth considering when there's the R7 8700F AMD Ai. A budget stone with Super TOP performance, 89W peak consumption, AMD AI cores providing additional Artificial Intelligence power, 16 cores, even outperforms the R7 7800X3D 200W stone, which is three times more expensive. For this price, the R7 8700F has no competition at all. Even the R7 7700 chiplet without AMD Ai doesn't come close. Before this, I had the constantly throttling garbage-cut version R5 7500F, and the difference is simply striking with the new BIOS. The R5 7500F 90w just can't compare even to the budget R5 8400F 75w (it even surpassed the R5 7600X3D). I specifically tested in games, and the FPS is higher on the budget monocrystal stone R5 8400F with only DDR5-6000 memory and above, while the 7000 series chiplet has no chance. So the affordable R7 8700F is the best choice for a modern PC, and for a start, the R5 8400F will be better than the overhyped R5 7500F by fake reviewers, with supposedly more cache. What's the use if it's slower than the 8000 series? Until I saw it myself, I also believed in the Cache positive 32MB versus 16MB, but it turned out to be fiction. Monocrystal is always better than a chiplet, and the memory controller is superior in a monocrystal. Currently, my DDR5-7600 memory on the R7 8700F provides a phenomenal boost due to the improved memory controller compared to the outdated 7000 series trial. |
