A full-format motherboard from the Asus Prime lineup with a focus on durability and reliability. Unlike most of its counterparts in the Prime series, it is based on the advanced AMD X670 system logic, equipped with the new AMD AM5 processor socket, which came into use in the second half of 2022, and its powerful power system is modeled after more expensive and status models from the series.
Asus ROG. It belongs to the upper part of the middle price segment and, according to the manufacturer, will be an excellent choice for a powerful gaming or working PC, which does not require miracles in terms of overclocking or the ability to organize complex backlighting. As usual in the Prime line, the manufacturer focuses on the reliability and durability of the device. A fairly powerful 14-phase power subsystem is responsible for powering all the elements, the VRM and PCH zones are equipped with additional cooling, the M.2 ports are covered with radiators, and the PCI-E slots are reinforced with reinforced fiber.
The board layout includes 3 ports for reactive M.2 SSDs (PCI-E 4.0 bus) and 6 slots for more traditional HDDs and SSDs. Network traffic is handled by a gigabit LAN controller from Realtek. Despite belonging to the consumer series, the model supports the installation of LED strips and water cooling for the CPU. With the help of HDMI and DisplayPort digital outputs, the board can display an image from the Vega video core built into Ryzen processors.
