Canon 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 EF-M IS STM

A compact telephoto camera for the Canon EF-M mirrorless mount, which allows shooting in the range of equivalent focal lengths of 88-320 mm (taking into account the 1.6x crop factor). Such coverage makes the model a suitable solution for both portrait photography and hunting for all kinds of animals. The only “but” is that the model turned out to be a bit dark: the value of its maximum aperture “floats” from f / 4.5 at the short end to f / 6.3 at the telephoto zoom position.

The lack of aperture is designed to compensate for the optical stub, by which it is possible to gain up to 3.5 stops of exposure when shooting handheld or in conditions of insufficiently good lighting. Under the hood of the Canon EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is a fast and quiet STM autofocus drive, which is especially useful when shooting video. The diameter of the front lens of the lens is 52 mm, moreover, when focus, it does not rotate, which is a direct way to use polarizing and gradient filters in conjunction with a telephoto lens.
