Full frame (full frame) SLR camera, successor to the 5D model. In its class, the EOS 6D belongs to the entry-level price range, but at the same time it has quite a decent set of features. Thus, the sensitivity range of the matrix in extended mode can reach ISO 50 — 102,400 (normally 100 — 25,600), the burst shooting speed is 4.5 fps, the video recording resolution is 1920x1080, and additional equipment includes a GPS module. The screen with LiveView mode has a diagonal of 3.2 "and a resolution of 1 MP. The case is protected from dust and moisture.

The most affordable full-frame DSLR. Full FF at a reasonable price.

Full-frame sensor and image quality that's different from cropped sensors. By today's standards, 20MP isn't all that much, but these are "honest" megapixels. Worked with Canon EF 24-70 II USM and Canon EF 85 f/1.8 USM lenses. The images are detailed, sharp, with vibrant natural colors. Very low noise level. It excels in shooting with short exposure in challenging lighting conditions. Sensitive autofocus in low light. It confidently locks onto subjects even in dim lighting. High-quality HD video recording. 30 frames per second at FullHD look solid. Enjoyed the HDR mode results. After a series of shots, the camera independently processes and combines images into a single frame with an extended dynamic range, as good as manual post-processing on a computer. White balance in natural lighting is impeccable. Under artificial lighting, it sometimes misses and requires manual adjustment. Macro with Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro and burst mode pleased me. Thanks to high ISO capability, the WiFi module allows for easy and quick photo transfer to other wireless devices. Worked with EOS 6D + Android tablet and EOS 6D + Windows 7 laptop. Extremely convenient feature, especially when a card reader isn't handy. The built-in GPS was also useful, but it noticeably drains the battery, so it should only be turned on when needed. Moderate size and weight. In fact, it's one of the most compact and lightweight full-frame DSLRs.
Sometimes, on dynamic objects, the autofocus misses.
There is no screen rotation.
There is no built-in flash.

Probably the best amateur DSLR from Canon

Good camera at a reasonable price. The main thing is to choose the right seller and carefully check the completeness, appearance, and functions. I recommend connecting the camera to Canon EOS Camera Info v1.2 when buying, so that there are no unpleasant surprises later.
1) The image quality is excellent! Autofocus is tenacious, misses very rarely. The dynamic range is wide. Details are well pulled from shadows and decently from highlights if shooting in RAW. The usable ISO range is very broad. Noise is easily adjusted in the converter.
2) The video quality is wonderful. A bit disappointing with the lack of autofocus during recording, but this is compensated by manual focusing.
3) Good ergonomics, somewhat unusual layout and functions of control elements, but you quickly get used to them. The camera is quite compact and not heavy.
4) The battery holds up excellently, one charge is enough for 1000 frames.
1) The shutter speed range has been narrowed to 1/4000. It can be compensated with filters or an aperture. Finally, there is a RAW converter.
2) There is no built-in flash, after all, it is a consumer camera. This is compensated by a wide dynamic range and working ISO 6400-12800.
3) The store top-tv.ru sold me a used camera under the guise of a new one. The serial number was re-stickered on the box. The previous owner, Artem Migushin, was registered in the camera. Dust was visible under the LCD screen. A non-factory matte hard protective film, cut with scissors, was applied to the display. The price turned out to be significantly higher than stated on the website (79990 instead of 72500). The company top-vt.ru does not respond to requests for replacement/return.

Due to my duty, I have to travel a lot to different countries. But I didn’t have any photos from the places where I was, since I didn’t have a camera, and to be honest, I don’t really like taking pictures9, I don’t think I’m very photogenic. My wife persuaded me to buy a Canon EOS 6D body digital camera. I surprised her and presented it for her birthday. There is no limit to her admiration and to this day, by the way, I began to take her on trips and never parted with her. It's so easy to use. In principle, if you get the hang of it, anyone can operate it without difficulty. The digital camera is very strong and durable, there seems to be nothing laminated there, except for the shutter, and even that doesn’t look frail. Out of curiosity, I decided to check the moisture resistance, now I can safely confirm that they are not lying, the moisture resistance works - I took it off in the rain and nothing, everything works great and does not dull. The buttons do not stick and are pressed clearly and softly. Shock protection is also normal - I fell, though not on purpose, but the system is all working properly. It’s a pleasure to take photographs, I even fell in love with being photographed. Low noise, very durable battery, convenient photo viewing mode, full frame, excellent autofocus. It's roomy and light, and the price is reasonable for such a high-quality digital camera. It gives an incredible picture, conveys the accuracy of each frame, the image is clear and does not wash out even with sharp pressure. This company has always been distinguished by its quality and reliability, so I bought it confidently and didn’t even think twice about it, and I don’t regret my choice at all.

The camera from Canon got the laurels of the most compact full-frame DSLR in the world. Despite its small dimensions, the camera practically does not lag behind older models either in picture quality or in ease of control.

Almost a pro

Why "practically"? Because the nuances inherent in the camera are not so small as to be attributed to professional cameras. First of all, they should include an 11-point focus system. It works quickly, but in some cases there are simply not enough focus points and it can be difficult to focus on the subject not in the centre of the frame. The second nuance is the lack of a built-in flash and a headphone port. The flash is easily replaced by an external one, and you will have to put up with the lack of a port. But the overall image quality and high operating light sensitivity values are completely on par with more advanced models.

Always in touch

The DSLR is distinguished from its closest competitors by the presence of wireless Wi-Fi and GPS modules. In full-frame models, they are still akin to exotic. With the help of Wi-Fi, photos can be easily shared to smartphones or tablets, and by turning on GPS, you will not puzzle over where this or that picture was taken. Fly in the ointment — enabled modules reduce battery life by almost half (up to about 300-400 shots).

Full compliance

The camera will be an excellent purchase for those who want to switch to full frame for relatively little money. It fully complies with the claimed price tag and fulfills it 100%.
