An indispensable tool for a roofer. It certainly speeds up the work of assembling rafters and formwork. The force of its impact is enough for any screws and dowels. The short top and comfortable grip allow you to work safely at heights. The bits hold on and do not fall out due to successful fastening. The play in the chuck does not interfere with work at all. You get used to it after a few screws. At the same time, you can remove the bat with one hand, without fear of falling off the scaffolding without a safety net. I use it in tandem with the DCD778D2T. The 18V 2Ah battery lasts a long time. Brushless motor, very good lighting around the axis of rotation, three speeds with different screwing forces. This cannot be compared with cheap nameless defective products from a well-advertised Chinese site. Paired with a screwdriver, the Impact allows you to work effectively without being distracted by all sorts of little things. Brushless Motor
This model can be used both for home tasks and for regular handy jobs. It is equipped with a second-generation brushless motor, which has 25% increased performance (compared to brushed models). This makes it deliver a torque of up to 205 Nm—so powerful that screws simply "zip" into place. This makes it very convenient for driving self-tapping slate screws without pre-drilling the material. However, if you need to make a hole in concrete, the impact mode will easily get the job done. The electronic motor protection will switch off the device in case of overload to prevent damage.
Lightweight Model
The model itself is very lightweight, just 0.9 kg, which makes it in demand for extended tasks like installing suspended ceilings or finishing walls with drywall. The workspace is well-lit by a lamp positioned under the chuck. By the way, the chuck is only for bits, so you'll need to purchase a separate one for a drill. A nice feature is the three-position speed switch (at 1000, 2800, and 3250 RPM). This allows you to adjust the rotation speed of the attachment to suit specific materials. The device is supplied without a battery and charger.
