Digital Cameras Sony series W (compacts)
Sony W: simple digital cameras
In the low-cost shelf of Sony digital compacts, simple "soap dishes" are presented without any frills, denoted by the letters of the Latin alphabet W and WX. Overwhelmingly, these are weightless "babies" (100 g with a small "tail") without a claim to outstanding quality of photographs and videos.
The cameras of the W squad are sharpened for performing the simplest tasks and filming exclusively in the "automatic" mode. At the head of their compact "carcasses" are matrices of physical size 1/2.3", supported by optics with an average zoom multiplicity (of the order from 5x to 20x). The compact series are equipped with a built—in flash, a fixed screen, and in rare cases, a Wi-Fi wireless communication module.
"Babies" with non-replaceable Sony W and WX objects are sold under the auspices of maximum availability. |
The Sony W entry-level digital cameras focus on accessibility to the widest possible audience. The cameras of the family are preferred by "Old Believers" and new users who lack the capabilities of the built-in photo module on board the smartphone, but at the same time the low-cost for the purchase of the camera is in a strictly defined framework.
