A special feature of the Razer Electra series headphones is a lightweight aluminium frame with soft eco-leather ear pads, a removable microphone and a balanced sound that will satisfy both gamers and music lovers. 40 mm Electra dynamic emitters with neodymium magnets give out a high-quality sound with a characteristic bass accent, but do not abuse it. Tanks in games rattle, dragons roar, shells explode, and bullets whistle, everything is as usual. But special effects do not hit the ears, trying to create the impression of being in the cinema. Describing this model, Razer does not just mention "powerful bass depth" and "clear sound stage" twice.

On the contrary, the sound of Electra was tuned so that it was pleasant to listen to your favorite music in them. Actually, for the sake of this, they came up with a design with a removable microphone and a button to turn it off: I rolled a couple of cards online, turned off the headset, put on headphones, turned on the new album Run The Jewels and went for a walk or ride a bike. It is worth noting that there are not so many similar headphones / headsets that can so skillfully sit on two chairs on the market.

Against the background of other product lines of the Californian brand, the Electra range looks very, very limited. The first version of headphones was released in 2011, in 2018 Razer presented the second generation of this headset. The changes turned out to be rather cosmetic: they seriously strengthened the headband, added a couple of new technical features (hello, Razer Synapse 2.0 software) and at the same time retained the well-recognized sustained style of the series. The second version of the headset came out in two variations ― with a standard 3.5mm audio cable and a USB connector.
