Laptops Gigabyte series AERO (gaming)
Gigabyte Aero
Despite the fact that the core of the PC gamers market is made up of simple fans of games with very affordable builds, enthusiastic gamers are moving the industry forward. It is for them that major brands love to produce expensive gaming devices that push the usual limits, cause delight at technology exhibitions and can become an object of envy, as if it were a brand new Aston Martin of a well-known British spy. As you probably already guessed, the Gigabyte Aero line of uncompromising gaming laptops belongs to this category.
As soon as they entered the laptop market, the Taiwanese brand immediately tried to raise the bar so high that only the bravest and strongest could jump to it. For representatives of this family, the absolute norm is a rare OLED and AMOLED display by the standards of laptops, a Core i9 processor, an RTX 3080 graphics card, an SSD for a couple of terabytes and 64 GB of RAM. All this stuff is packed in a light (on average 2 kg) and thin case. The thickness of a typical Gigabyte Aero laptop is 20 mm, which is several mm less than that of the MSI Thin models, which are considered one of the thinnest gaming laptops on the market.
This combination of hardware power and equipment allows you to use a laptop not only for games, but also for work. Moreover, of any kind ― fortunately, the power of the graphics card is enough for rendering in 4K, such a powerful processor could successfully lead a small country, and the quality and colour reproduction of the display are perfect for working with graphics. Not every "creative" laptop has 100% coverage of the DCI P3 colour spectrum, Pantone certification and support for the HDR10 format. Add the word Quadro to the graphics card, and the conditional Gigabyte Aero 15 KC can be recorded with pure hearts in the ranks of workstations, where, again, it will have a minimum of competitors.
Naturally, such devices are created without regard to the price, so a laptop with such hardware will cost the buyer about 4K dollars. However, this is an extreme case, and so most of the representatives of the series with a simpler configuration are in the region of 2 to 3K evergreens. For those who do not need such surpluses, Gigabyte has released a fraternal line of Aorus laptops, in which the emphasis is not on OLED screens, but on the quality of the keyboard and the reaction speed in games.
