The board is based on the overclocking X670E chipset and is equipped with an AM5 socket designed to work with Ryzen 7000 processors (Raphael family) based on the advanced Zen 4 microarchitecture.

Unlike motherboards with an AM4 socket and the previous generation Zen architecture, this device exchanges data via the PCI bus -E 5.0 and is designed to work with high-speed DDR5 RAM, which only entered the mass market in 2022.
