1) Battery life (in the Garmin Forerunner 255, it's about 2 weeks, compared to 1 day in my old Apple Watch)
2) Only physical buttons (during sports activities, a touchscreen isn't convenient) - it's handy in winter, during workouts, in the rain

6) Weight (the lighter, the better, model 255 is exactly that!)
7) MIP display - it's amazing! The display is always on but barely drains the battery... The readability is similar to an e-reader. Very convenient for the eyes both at night and during the day.
And I got all this in the Garmin Forerunner 255 for a quite reasonable price. Nothing extra. This is a sports watch that motivated me to run (even though I don't like it). For everything else, I have a smartphone. Yes, there are much better models like Fenix/Epix with a flashlight, maps, more expensive appearance, but they cost 2-3 times more and are easier to scratch. The Forerunner 255 met 90% of my needs for much less money.
