Sony a7CR body

Compact mirrorless camera with a full-frame high-resolution 60MP sensor borrowed from the higher-end model Sony A7r V. At the same time, the camera's form factor is identical to the Sony A7C. The back-illuminated image sensor works in tandem with the BIONZ XR chip and an auxiliary AI Processor Unit — the latter handles AI operations processing (autofocus, "smart" metering, auto-framing for selfies).

The mirrorless camera employs an integrated stabilization system based on sensor shift with a claimed effectiveness of up to 7 stops for shutter speed or frame exposure. The mechanical shutter of the Sony a7CR body supports shutter speeds down to 1/4000 s, while the electronic one goes up to 1/8000 s. In terms of video shooting, the camera records 4K clips at 60 fps with a slight 1.2x crop.

From the full width of the sensor, video is recorded at a frame rate of 30 fps. The operator is offered a wide range of preset gamma curve profiles. In the body of this mirrorless "petite", there is room for an electronic viewfinder, complemented by a 3-inch touchscreen on a swivel hinge. According to CIPA standards, the camera can shoot over 500 frames on a single full charge of the NP-FZ100 battery.
