An upgraded version of the popular mirrorless (MILC) NEX-5. Having retained an almost unchanged appearance and the E-Mount mount, the camera has acquired a matrix with a resolution increased to 16.1 megapixels, a sensor on a rotary display, tracking autofocus and an ISO range extended to 25,600. The software part offers 40 different scene presets. Capabilities include shooting 3D panoramas, and Full HD (1080p) video recording at 60 fps. Also, the battery capacity has increased by almost a third (up to 430 shots per charge).
