Smartphones with Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos
— object-based audio technology developed and implemented by Dolby Laboratories. In simple words, Dolby Atmos allows you to determine the approximate distance to a particular object when playing an audio track. This achieves the effect that the sound stage envelops the listener. For each such source, information is specified about what position and distance relative to the listener it should be, how to move, what additional effects it should sound with, etc. And the Dolby Atmos-enabled playing device independently determines exactly how the sound needs to be distributed across the available channels in order to achieve the desired impression on the listener. The technology is not tied to a specific number of sound channels and, in theory, there can be as many as you like.clear | Save List |
