In the range of BenQ monitors, you can almost always find several options for solving the same task. For example, Zowie and Mobius are designed with fast-paced games in mind, while the SW and PD lines are designed for photo and video processing. But with displays from the E family, everything is not so simple. Many members of this series can play the role of a large gaming display with an enhanced immersive effect. Usually, these are 24 and 27-inch IPS panels with Full HD or 2K resolution, adequate colour reproduction, a fast matrix, a high refresh rate and a complete gentleman's set of all gaming functions (FreeSync, Black eQualizer, etc.).

Others are more aimed at budding designers, artists and graphic artists who don't want a regular low-cost monitor but don't need an expensive Pantone-certified monitor. Most often, 27- and 32-inch IPS and VA panels with 2K / 4K resolution, support for HDR content and almost one hundred percent coverage of the DCI P3 colour triangle fall into this category. Depending on the price, they can be equipped with a full-fledged USB hub with support for fast charging and built-in speakers with a subwoofer.

Well, the picture is completed by relatively simple everyday monitors, which, in terms of the overall level of performance, do not reach the status of gaming and design monitors. In most cases, this group includes 24 and 27-inch IPS and VA displays with Full HD resolution and a minimum of additional features. The popular EW2780 and EW2480 are great examples. Both are built on the basis of simple IPS-matrices with Full HD resolution and standard indicators of brightness, contrast and colour reproduction. And their technical equipment is limited to support for Flicker-Free and AMD FreeSync.
