Monitors Samsung series Odyssey (gaming)

At the turn of the decades, the Samsung division responsible for the production of monitors was forced to revise its model range and, so to speak, clean up the stables. So the number of numbered episodes has decreased, and a completely new Odyssey line has been invented for game fans. Moreover, the Korean manufacturer immediately came up with trumps, using all the accumulated experience in the production of television panels, monitors and displays for portable equipment.
Perhaps the main reason for their success is reasonable pricing, which is combined with advanced technical equipment. For example, in the ranks of Odyssey there are monitors with branded QLED illumination on quantum dots. Of course, this thing is complicated and expensive, so only the most advanced variants like the Odyssey G7 and G9 are equipped with it. But the fact remains. In the same series, the company's first gaming monitors appeared with a scan frequency of 240 and 360 Hz and simultaneous support for AMD FreeSync Premium with NVIDIA G-Sync.
An excellent example of this is the Odyssey G9 monitor, which has become the de facto locomotive of this series. This is an ultra-wide curved gaming monitor with a resolution of 5120x1440 pixels, unsurpassed image quality, support for the HDR 1000 standard, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response rate of only 1 ms (MPRT). This is either a brilliant monitor or a TV of the future with an appropriate price tag.
At the same time, Samsung does not limit gamers only to terribly expensive exhibition models, releasing technically advanced, but still more modest monitors. As a result, for more than a year now, the main bestseller is the 32-inch Samsung Odyssey G5 VA panel, which meets most modern requirements and at the same time costs a little less than $ 400.
