The basis of the Benq G series is 22 – 24-inch monitors with universal matrices such as IPS. Such a diagonal allows you to freely place on the screen all the information necessary for work and at the same time take up not too much space on the table. They have the most basic equipment, and the prices are as democratic as possible. To connect the model to a PC, in most cases, a complete set is offered in the face of HDMI, VGA and DVI-D. Almost all of them are claimed to be wall-mountable using a VESA mount.
The equipment of most models in this series clearly tells us that their place is on the desktop, and not in the game room. Due to the limited refresh rate (most often 60 Hz) and not the fastest response speed (2 – 8 ms), the G-series models will not be the best solution for a gaming PC. And there is no banal FreeSync support here. Their strength lies elsewhere. Almost all BenQ G models are equipped with W-LED backlighting, support Flicker-Free technology, which eliminates eye-tiring screen flicker, and belong to the Eye-Care sub-series.
The most popular in this series is the affordable 24-inch model BenQ GW2475H, which just asks for the title of universal. As a basis, it uses a full-fledged eight-bit IPS-matrix with Full HD resolution and W-LED backlight, devoid of PWM flicker. Given the price tag "slightly over $ 100", BenQ GW2475H can be a good option for working with texts, spreadsheets, presentations, web content and social networks.
