Hitman

— the famous series of stealth-action games puts the player in the shoes of a professional hitman, "Agent 47." The main task for the player is to eliminate designated targets, sometimes requiring completion of intermediate missions such as infiltrating a guarded area. An interesting feature of Hitman's stealth mechanics is the ability to disguise oneself in someone else's clothing, allowing the player to blend in with enemies without arousing suspicion. The mission design is non-linear, and tasks can be completed in various ways—from elegantly staged accidents to open assassinations, or even a full-on assault in a "kill them all" style. However, stealth and precision strikes are primarily encouraged, and in the later games of the series, shooting is openly discouraged. It's also worth noting the extensive array of assassination methods, with some missions including quite extravagant options (death from overheating in a sauna, a gas canister dropped down a chimney, etc.).

The Hitman series includes 7 main games and 5 spin-offs, with the last two main titles being a reboot of the series, named similarly to the first two games—Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018). The main part of the franchise is released for PC, PS, and Xbox.
