S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

— a cult first-person adventure game series inspired by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster. The events of the games unfold in an alternative present time on the territory of the Chernobyl exclusion zone. As a result of the anomalous "release" from the station, physical, chemical and biological processes have changed dramatically. In the gameplay, the character is opposed by mutants, anomalies, people from opposing factions, other stalkers, armed forces, etc. Anomalies in the Chernobyl zone give rise to objects with special properties - behind them they then penetrate into the forbidden territory in search of such little things for personal enrichment. Three parts of the first phase of the game were released between 2007 and 2009 (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat). All of them provide several options for endings, depending on the actions of the character during the gameplay. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is expected to premiere in 2023. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
