Thus, the plot usually revolves around the struggle of a group of heroes with a powerful evil force, often represented by a bright, charismatic antagonist. In addition to actions, psychological moments are of great importance in the development of the plot — the interaction of heroes, "ghosts of the past", etc. Separate names and types of characters and spells are repeated from game to game. Also a characteristic feature are references to the history and mythology of certain regions of the real world.
