All the names of the main games are in the simplest format, the subseries plus the number: for example, Forza Motosport 6. The games in the series have been released since 2005, the Horizon subseries since 2012, and from that moment on, the subseries alternate — either Motosport or Horizon is released every year. The latest actual game is Forza Horizon 4 2018.In general, the series is distinguished by high quality performance, including very reliable physical control models for different car models, an extensive selection of cars themselves (up to several hundred), as well as race formats and racing tracks. Thanks to this, Forza remains one of the most profitable franchises not only among racing simulators, but also in the gaming industry as a whole. Also noteworthy is the close cooperation of developers with the Top Gear show (up to the participation of the hosts in recording voice acting for games), as well as with individual automakers (in particular, Ford).
