For those who prefer larger devices, Apple traditionally presented a larger version of the iPhone 16 with the Plus prefix. The main difference between the standard model and the Plus version is the diagonal of the OLED screen (6.1 versus 6.7 inches), weight, dimensions and battery capacity. Externally, the device has retained a recognizable design: a glass case, a metal frame and IP68 water protection. The screen has a Dynamic Island cutout, which adapts to what is happening on the display, changing its size and shape. New features include the Action Button on the side, which can be customized for the desired functions, and the Camera Control slider for quick camera control.

The main changes in the iPhone 16 Plus concern the internals. The new A18 processor increases the device's performance by 30%, and the RAM has increased from 6 to 8 GB. The presentation paid special attention to the Apple Intelligence system - a set of intelligent tools built into iOS. Among them are a proofreader and assistant for writing texts, an image generator, functions for in-depth photo editing and transcription of phone calls.

The camera specs are virtually unchanged, with a 48MP main module and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. However, the camera unit design has been updated, with the lenses now positioned vertically, giving the device a cleaner look. Wireless charging has also increased to 25W via MagSafe and 15W via Qi2. Otherwise, the iPhone 16 Plus is almost identical to the iPhone 15 Plus, with its OLED screen, FaceID security system, and IP68 water resistance.
