By Asus standards, this is a strong middle class, in which there is nothing superfluous. The main feature of the series is a completely redesigned and more durable element base. In comparison with conventional office motherboards, TUF models can boast of numerous transistors in the power subsystem, a modified VRM radiator, improved chokes, etc. Due to such equipment, TUF series boards are perceived by many gamers as "almost premium at a tasty price". Although, in fact, it is a strong middle class that is not afraid of difficulties.

Over the years, the TUF line has developed a well-recognized visual style: the black textolite of the board is pierced with gold veins, TUF logos are scattered around the body, and a black plug covers the dashboard from behind. And in the box with the board, in addition to instructions, cables and driver disks, you can find a screwdriver, a set of fasteners, a pack of stickers and even a spare cooler. However, there have been fewer such gifts in recent years, which is why the halo of selectivity inherent in the first motherboards and video cards of the TUF series has slightly dimmed.

To date (note: July 2021), the average TUF series board is a moderately high―quality motherboard with optimal equipment and a strong 8-phase power subsystem with a pair of cooling radiators. As tests show, their capabilities are best suited to work in tandem with an overclocked Core i5 or Ryzen 5 caliber chip. Higher-level processors with more serious heat dissipation can work unstable, resetting frequencies across all cores with turbo boost.
